Madame Jojo’s in Soho are hosting a totally new and original night called Reggae Punk Mondays. Bands from both genres take to the stage to play for the melting pot of fans that have gathered. Cheap booze and fine music made this night perfect.

I watched as punk band, The Duel performed a number of their feisty songs whilst encouraging the crowd to start a revolution. Then came the reggae artist, Afrikan Symba who vibrated the venue with the thundering base and educating everyone on the origins of roots reggae. The one thing that united these very two different bands was their pure passion for the music and their cause.
